Results of the 2024 Super Raffle Drawing on July 20th, 2024

The 2024 Super Raffle drawing was held July 20th, 2024
This year we changed the raffle, having 10 draws and made a change to the structure of the prizes. It was well received!! We sold all of the 100 Super Raffle Tickets!!
Thank you to all members and others that purchased the Super Raffle Tickets. This raffle helps the club to continue.

Photo #1 -We put the tote board to use, hanging a number for the draw on the ticket number. Photo #2 – The ticket stubs laid out with the # that they were drawn. Photo #3 – multiple rounds of trap shooting took place from 9 am until noon. Here are a few of our shooters getting ready for the next round.

I have to apologize, I was derelict in my duties, I did not have anyone assigned to take pictures on July 20th. If anyone that was there took pictures please send them along to me at avfgclub.secretary@gmail.com

Thank you to all who worked on the Super Raffle and the day of the 100th Anniversary Bash. We put Gary Griswold to work selling the last 3 super raffle tickets at the door, along with tickets for the meal. Dean Thompson brought old photos from the club and had them on display, then we put him to work selling the raffle tickets for the items we had on display in the main room. Bev Lancaster and a former co-worker of hers assisted with getting the tables set with silverware, salt & pepper and then with serving the cake and clearing the tables. Don Clark & Don Dodge served the spaghetti, then were spelled by Owen and Tucker Clark who finished up serving so Don C and Don D could eat. Owen & Tucker moved right into washing all the dishes, silverware, pots and pans!
The set up crew on Friday – swept, mopped and washed dishes, set up tables and chairs, put on the table cloths and made sure the bathrooms and kitchen were cleaned and ready for the Saturday Event. Thank you to Pam DiPerio for washing dishes, thank you guys that dried the dishes (I promised not to say who they were so their wives didn’t expect them to do this duty at home!) Thanks to the guys that got the trap house loaded with birds for the trap shooting on Saturday!
