Trap Shooting – 2026
Sunday Trap Shooting at 9 am each Sunday and Tuesdays at 4 pm unless ..you are notified by email
Currently we are shooting at 9 am each Sunday and 4 pm on Tuesdays. If the weather is bad ..we will email on Saturday that the shooting for that Sunday is cancelled and on Monday if the Tuesday shooting is going to be cancelled.
Watch for the email. If you are not a Trap Shooter, but would like to know about schedule changes or cancellations please Email the Secretary to be added to the Trap Shooting Email list.
We will post on the Website as well as email the trap shooting group when the Sunday shooting time changes as well as when the Tuesday Trap Shooting is paused for the ‘cold weather months’ again.
New Member Orientations
If you are a new member and need to do your Orientation to receive your membership card and gate code, you can come by on Sunday at 9 am, or Tuesday at 4 pm. There will be someone there that can do your Orientation and give you your membership card. If these days and times are not going to work for you please Email the Secretary to set up a date & time for your orientation.

Spring Time at the Range. . . . .
No snow…a little warmer …no leaves on the trees but nice sunshine to
shoot.
We now have an enclosed and heated area for those waiting their turn to shoot.
Many thanks to Dave Carbonneau for the gift of the heater and the use of his propane tank to fuel it.
Thank you to John Izzo, Ed Fisher, Dave Carbonneau and a multitude of others for the work that has continued on the the enclosed area.
We still need to fit the material into the drop down ‘window’ area as well as stain the enclosure.
As time passes all will get done with the help from our members of the Trap Shooting Group!!

Trap Shooting
Currently we try to shoot every Sunday at 9 am that the club facility is not in use for any other activity. Check the monthly Calendar to see when we will be there.
Tuesday we are shooting at 4 pm.
If you would like to be on the email list for changes to the trap shooting schedule please email avfgclub.secretary@gmail.com and ask to be added to the email list.
We do have 12 ga and 20 ga shotgun ammo for sale on the days that we shoot. Just in case you only brought 1 box and want to shoot another round. The cost is $10 per box.
The New Trap machine has been in place for a while now. We have been experiencing lots of breakage of the birds when they are launched. We are working on the solution for this problem so please have patience with us when you are shooting.
